Brandon Marshall will miss the Broncos' first two games - AFC West division games against San Diego and Oakland - according to a report aired during Sunday's Hall of Fame game.
The Broncos and their fans have seemed resigned to playing at least part of the season without their biggest game-breaking threat, whose personal behavior has made him a target of the NFL's personal conduct policy.
The report said Marshall's official suspension would be three games, pared to a pair of contests if he agrees to undergo counseling.
