For those of you watching the progress of our first newsletter we are about turn on the heat an juice things up a bit now. That is Charlie Parker (known as the Bird) in the back grown music playing alto sax. He is one of the founders of Bebop music during the 1930's. Dizzy and Munk were Bebop founders in New York. Bird first took Kansas City by a storm which was felt as far away as New York. He later joined the New York Boppers and they integrated with Bird's music.
