We’ve boosted our testing to now include 27 monitors so
we’re now pretty certain we know what to expect after our final series of tests.
UPDATE 31 March 2008: Hi everyone. Some
respondents have mentioned that LCD brightness has an affect on power
consumption. Well, it certainly does. We carried out a small test last
October and wrote up the results in a story called "Backlight consumes two-thirds of LCD monitor power"
