In 2007, actor Samantha Morton came to Fiona Banner's studio to pose for a nude portrait; but instead of making a picture, Banner wrote a description of what she saw. Soon afterwards, having never read the text before, Morton performed it in front of a large audience at the Whitechapel gallery in London.
