CAR thieves are targeting top-of-the-range motors then selling them abroad, insurance experts claim. The average value of a cartheft claim has rose by 38 per cent in a year, according to insurance firm LV. And as vehicle security has improved, raiders are now breaking into owners' homes to swipe the keys. LV director John O'Roarke warned: "Owners of top-end vehicles - such as Porsches, BMWs and Jaguars - need to be more vigilant to keep their cars safe."
