Julie Westlake , the metal songbird of the rock band HYDROGYN , has agreed to be a "jailbird" until she reaches or exceeds her fundraising goal for MDA . She will show her support for the cause by requesting donations from her friends and fans to "bail her out" of jail.

The Muscular Dystrophy Association is a national voluntary health agency dedicated to researching and curing over 40 neuromuscular diseases. Proceeds for the "Lock-Up" fundraiser can go towards the purchase of items such as flu shots, research, diagnostic exams, summer camp, wheelchairs and other medical devices.
