OK - AMC DECIDED TO PUT THIS THING BACK ON THE RAILS!!! Many bloggers, myself included, were astonished at how progressive the cable network AMC appeared to be in creating Twitter accounts for its lead characters. It seemed to be an interesting and fun use of new media and a way in which fans could engage with their characters beyond the show. It now appears AMC wasn't behind the Twitter idea, instead it was all generated by amateurs/fans. We know this because apparently AMC's lawyers have asked that the Twitter accounts be taken down.
