In a recent interview with G4, the Scottish-bred author of Wanted and Kick-Ass resumed his lobbying for the Man of Steel gig, laying out his ambitious plans for an epic, seven-hour trilogy in the style of Lord of the Rings. Back in early July, I passed on news to you guys that Mark Millar, author of Wanted, War Heroes, 1985 and a host of other comics, told some people that he had a real idea for rebooting the Superman franchise. And it was welcomed news, at least to me. The franchise is essentially dead in my eyes, as the last installment did nothing but enact a "ho-hum" from me.
