Ford plant shuts down after worker killed this morning

Filed under: Plants/Manufacturing, FordThe Detroit News is reporting that a worker at Ford's Woodhaven Stamping Plant in Michigan was killed this morning. While the family has requested the man's name not be released, sources at the factory told The Detroit News that he was a die-setter and was killed while loading a transfer press. SALEM, OR - A small exhibition from the collection of Leo Michelson, a Portland resident and avid collector of contemporary art, will be on display Aug. 2 through Oct. 5 in the Study Gallery at the Hallie Ford Museum of Art at Willamette University.
